Spring in Venice
Even though we’re going through a difficult period, we still want to tell you all about our city in the hopes that soon you will once again be able to enjoy the magic of Venice.
Venice is marvelous in the spring: sunny days, pleasant temperatures, and a sparkling atmosphere that fills the city. It’s the perfect time for long walks through the streets and squares, enjoying the sun shining off the canals and monuments, and planning visits to the Venetian islands.
From Bloom B&B you can comfortably reach Venice’s most famous sites, such as Piazza San Marco just a 10-minute walk away. In addition to visiting the Saint Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, it is also worth going up the Saint Mark’s Campanile, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view across all of Venice thanks to the clear spring air.
A spring day in Venice isn’t complete without a stroll among the Zattere, Punta della Dogana, and Giudecca. Starting from the Bloom B&B, in 10 minutes you will reach the Zattere, the long promenade that runs along the Giudecca Canal. From there you can enjoy a view of the Giudecca island and canal. Stop to enjoy the sun and panorama at one of the ice cream parlors with some Gianduiotto, delicious gianduia ice cream smothered in whipped cream.
