Exhibition on Mesopotamia at Palazzo Loredan
A wonderful exhibition of artifacts and remains of the ancient Mesopotamia taken from the Collection Ligabue and the archaeological museums of Venice and Turin, is held at Palazzo Loredan in Campo Santo Stefano, headquarters of the Veneto Institute of Sciences, Letters and Arts in Venice, from 20 January to 25 April 2017. The place is litterally a stone’s throw from our B&B Bloom. The exhibition promoted by the Foundation Giancarlo Ligabue, has the title of “Before the Alphabet” and is in fact focused on the cuneiform writings on stone dating up to 3000 years A.C.
An archaeological and anthropological exhibition really unique for Venice, mostly used only to art exhintiotions, therefore we recommend everyone to visit it.
